- Can explain what they built, in their own words
- Can change the project and make it their own
- Can find and fix a small mistake without help
- Can say where AI helped them, and where it didn't
If all four come easily, your child moves to the next topic. If not, the mentor revisits it — your child is never pushed ahead before they're ready.
